St. Mark's Church in the Bowery is an Episcopal Church located at the corner of Second Avenue and 10th Street in New York City. Consecrated in 1799, the church's mission is to welcome individuals and families who live, work and wander in our city to experience God's love and the fullness of life. We are an inclusive community ministering through worship, education, social outreach, advocacy for justice, and celebration of the arts.

Join us Sunday mornings at 11:00 a.m., for worship, music and fellowship.

fear and reconciling:

a lenten series

Lent draws us into the wilderness of rampant fear and unfathomable suffering that we have helped to create, but which we can transform with sufficient will. Join us at historic St. Mark’s Church as professors, performers, and preachers provoke and inspire us to confront our demons of despair, indifference, and ignorance with tools of liberation and healing.
